This is a family owned business for over 45 years. It started back in 1965 with our great grandfather installing floor stones as heavy as 200Kg each. Over the years, skills grew and products varied.

We branched off to wall installations, arches designs, window bridges, carving, specialty cuts, marble & granite slabs, ceramic and porcelain tiles, kitchen countertops, vanity tops, granite walls. Ceramic & mosaic installation existed longs ago too, but after porcelain tiles were invented, a few companies and people wanted to keep using ceramics due to its strength but many still use mosaic tiles. Ceramic jobs are limited to walls, backsplashes and special requests.

Most of the products these days are granite, marble & porcelain tiles. On the other hand, when it comes to stone craftsmanship; stones require different skills in terms of accuracy, cuts, strength and also require heavier machinery. The family expanded and the grandfather had three boys that learned his skills and kept the job trade within.

Each of these uncles had many boys and all of them almost learned and developed the skills even further and further. Currently, we operate Hawari Marble & Tile mainly in two regions: Greater Vancouver Area & Kelowna Okanagan Area. Back in the days, each one of the family worked individually without a business name uniting them all. However, the brothers decided to put forces together and operate under one name Hawari Marble & Tiles in 2004. It is a late step in the business, but better taken sooner than later.

Our work was never advertise and always through word of mouth. Our craftsmanship speaks for itself & sometimes we cannot provide cheap prices. Due to our workforce number and our skills, we never ran out of time or men for any small or large projects. We always help each other in terms of shortages on the jobs, emergencies and machineries.

Thus, help our clients reach their goals.
